Already happened to me and I couldn't anything due to the fact that the user called his credit card company and said it was fraud... :/
If you're lucky and it's not the situation I stated, you might want to call them as Rasheed said :3

    Best luck to you mate,

I don't really like to call tbh...

    Thought MB was 100% secure?
As you can see it was from 4 different emails, so he'd have gotten all their birth data aswell?

Still can't believe this happened... omfg...

MB is secure, but never seen that happen before.

These were fake MoneyBookers accounts and you got payments from stolen credit cards which do not belong to the senders of the money, I think this is the case. Because the amounts were very similar and all of them happened at the same day,

Contact MoneyBookers and tell them that you did provide the good for it, maybe they will do something. MoneyBookers is very secure, but if it is possible, you need to make sure that the person who he says he is, and you needed to see it, you received many similar amounts on the same day.

Best of luck in resolving this case.

This is diabolical, that's a lot of money to be charged back on. That amount is eligible for a court proceeding, if you can build a case with evidence fucking sue the bastard and hit him with triple the amount he's charged back. MSN conversations wouldn't stand up in court though, so you're best off emailing ALL of your evidence to Moneybookers, calling them and rectifying the situation, ask for someone high up because you'll simply get handed over, and over to different customer service until you give up (This tactic is used by multitudes of companies to excavate away from a situation like this)

    False.

Moneybookers just claims to have 100% no claim charge back protection, but they cannot offer this in reality.

All it takes for the buyer is a simple phone call to moneybookers, saying they haven't received the items / services they paid for. Since it's virtual items which are not supported by moneybookers (just like on paypal) you can not win this case.

I've known this forever, I'm surprised you guys thought you were actually 100% safe with MB.

If you have his / her adress you could try sending a package to the adress and prove to moneybookers you made the delivery (with a tracking id). This would only have a chance to work if they claimed they didn't receive anything, not if it's an unauthorized payment claim ofcourse.

I highly doubt that would work, though. Good luck, sorry to hear you got scammed =\

$1200 is far from life ending. You learn from your mistakes. MB has always been ass.. never bothered with it.

Is it not the same as paypal, where you can just leave the account and nothing happens?

Tiemen, were these payments made by the Sythe User: DoarMb?

If so, you all really were quite careless with the payments he made. I was made aware that he used different MB accounts for each payment, and everyone saw he was overpaying / overbuying.

I'm sorry, but if you didn't know these were fraudulent at the time, you shouldn't be selling in the first place. From what I understand, most people did know they were fraudulent, but accepted them anyways, thinking MB would shoulder the damage. That's very irresponsible as a merchant as well.

They closed my account 3rd time! This time permanent.

My wifes account also locked

So, I can't have another MB account? Never? :( :RAGE:

Good thing that MB don't "scam" like PP does-I can withdraw my money

I have only sold to the user DoarMb twice, he used different MSNs for the other sales.
As I thought MB was 100% safe, i sold to anyone via moneybookers who contacted me.
