Fucking Gamestop

I've been through shit with Amazon for holding codes (Microsoft Points to be exact) and not giving to me once I purchased them like in the past. Gamestop seems to be in this trend as well, and goes even further when it comes to fucking me over. I had $68.80 on a card from past trade credit so I figured I was going to buy 4800 MSP, get Dead Space 3 and let my friend License Transfer. I order the codes, get the email that I'll be receiving the codes in a bit, but I never got them. Stood on the phone for an hour on hold for customer service, never got through. I was like "This is fucking bullshit, I'm going down to Gamestop". So I drive back down, and explain this all to them. They can't help me because they and Gamestop.com are seperate when it comes to sales. He tries my GC though, and it says I was never charged. I was relieved, thought it was just a computer fuckup and now I could get the codes. Nope. When he does to make the purchase, he tells me the GC was charged. So he calls some higher person in Gamestop, and they tell me about this disclaimer that I have to wait 24 hours. I was a bit disappointed, but figured what the hell, at least I'll get my codes and possibly tonight even. Well I fell asleep, just woke up. Check my emails, and I have another one for Gamestop. It says my order was cancelled. I never cancelled it. Went on Gamestop.com, the order isn't there anymore. I was going to order it again, so I checked my GC balance. They fucking charged me, never sent me my codes, cancelled my order, and then never refunded me. Fuck you Gamestop.

 

Life is a bitch at times, isnt it? :/

 

soooo why not just drive down to gamestop in the first place? I have never had a problem ordering MSP from gamestop.com it is almost instant. Next time drive to game stop and just use your gift card there.

Also i am sorry you had to go through that sounds pretty shitty.

 

Just call and chat with them, I've never had a problem if something like this happens I usually get free codes or a new gift card.

 

That's terrible, but I guess it'd bound to occur being as big as they are. I'd try calling them again to at least get your original balance back. Otherwise, you've lost quite a bit of money, and that would be unfortunate after all you've been through just for some MP.

 

It could be worse I once bought a code from a shop got home went to scratch the thing of but it wasn't there

 

Yeah I once bought a code that said invalid and I got NO refund.
