Hunter Pet

So i just started leveling my hunter again, currently lvl 60.
So i was just wondering to all the hunters, what pets do you perfer?
Stats and Looks.
Currently i am BM and i have a Tyrant Devilsaur which no lie was hard to get at lvl 60 haha.
But yes what do you use?

 

When I levelled my hunter, I used a bear.

 

Yeh a Bear, Boar for leveling a Raptor, Wolf, Cat for instances.
A Raptor or Spider for PVP.

At level 80 change to
Wolf for MM spec and Raptor for SV spec.
and Spider for PVP...it's the best IMO because it can net players so melee classes can't attack you or run from you.

 

I rolled snake while pvping 1-60

 

Spider is epic outside ICC...noobs try to run inside ICC spider traps them + burst DPS = dead.
Player tries to ress...spider attacks/traps right away + burst DPS = dead. lol

Good time spending while waiting for ICC raid.

 

so from 1-79 just get like a pet tank?
is that kinda what ya saying.
unless you plan to pvp.

 

I do pvp and instances all the time and I always used a hyena from tannaris.
Its pretty high dps and slows down enemys. Im lvl 57 hunter atm. Markmanship build.

 

Yeh if you plan on questing a lot.

lol roll BM spec it's OP for pvp at low levels.

so i guess ill try marksman, i was bm it was very nice buti wanted to try new

 

Was BM myself then switched to marksman and Marksman is better in pvp.

 

yeah BM is pretty shit at 80 unless your running a beast cleave which is its single use xD

 

crocodile is pretty good for my 66 hunterr... he does a thunderclap when you attack something.. its pretty beast for Mob killing

I used a boar from 1-60.
At 60 I got Beast Mastery talent and tamed myself a Worm. Pretty great considering it reduces the opponents armour.
After 80 I rolled Survival and got myself a wolf for the AP boost.

 

Wolf sucks for Survival spec...get a raptor.
or L2play and roll MM.

 

at 80 id roll for pets
PVP: BM- Hyena
MM & Surv- Crab, Spider or Serp (if your at a decent arena level when dispels are starting to be used)
DPS: BM- Devilsaur
MM & Surv- Wolf (Not sure why these were called shit theyre pretty good), Raptor or Cat

 

what does serpent do? doesnt it like do something to armor?
