    OMM's should be less risk-free

    http://sythe.org/showthread.php?t=1406985

I was a little rude in that link ^ I'll admit that, I was angry...I'm down 870m. I shouldn't have bashed the OMMs for denying my request but it would be nice if there was a group of select MM's who could charge more in order to complete more complex trades like the situation I had. If all had gone well the day me and the seller were asking OMMs to log into his account and complete the trade, I wouldn't be down $500. It sucks a lot.

I know I'll get the "you should have used a MM from the start" and yeah I should have, but it would have been impossible then too cause of the shitty connection. The only way this trade could have been completed was through an OMM cause they're the only ones he trusted enough to log into his account.

And sorry for requesting in the link that the OMMs should be better and more ballsier lol, that was harsh and I let my emotions run.

That's my feedback, take it how you will.

First of all, I don't see how you're down $500 from not trading someone. If anything, you've saved your money.

Secondly, the staff aren't going to force a group of users to trade riskier. The OMMs are awarded their ranks specifically because they've proven to be safe traders who MM safely as well.

I think I forgot to add the part I already paid him.

And I guess less-risky wasn't the right choice of word or rather a stupid choice of words, I guess I could have used the word "specialized OMM" or ultimate OMM idk it doesn't matter. My point was, in cases like these what could I have done other than turn to an OMM? He and I both agreed only an OMM could complete the trade by logging on as his connection won't be fixed for a little longer, and now even when it does get fixed it won't metter. He doesn't have to work for vouches and won't pay me back. So yeah here is my one question...

If I was stuck in a trade with a seller who couldn't deliver and only allowed an OMM to log into his account and complete the trade and all the OMMs contacted said no...then the idiot seller gets caught for ban evading. What could I possibly have done?

Well that's a federal offense...You can get CSIS or the FBI (or whatever country you live in) to track down the ISP of you have proof. How did you handle the situation out of curiosity?

Well I wouldn't bother pursuing it since I doubt they would find who it is, and I had to call my ISP I assume they changed my ip. In most cases I don't recommend logging into anyone's account since it can potentially be blamed on you or they can just use it to grab your ip although apart from cutting your internet there's not much else an ip would have use for.

In the future use a trusted mm/ OMM to hold the money before the trade not contact one after you have sent the money.

OMMs are essentially users who ensure no scams occur, and the trade(s) happen smoothly. If they feel there is a risk originating from the trade, they aren't going to MM it because they don't want anything going wrong. Think of it this way, you assume the trade would have happened with nothing going wrong, but what if you were scammed? Then, you actually would be down $500, right now you haven't lost anything. Those OMMs could have potentially saved you a lot of money.

EDIT: Well, I just saw a recent post saying you already gave the money to the user. You really shouldn't have done that, you need to take more trade precautions in future trades. That way, you won't be down any amount. Sorry for your loss.

    Alright, here's the bottom line:

    1. It is clear to me that rstrader007 was trying to scam you from the start. I sincerely doubt he would've let any OMM on his account / he already knew that no OMM would do it.

    2. You can't just send someone money beforehand and then try to get an OMM to do something like that. No sensible OMM would do that, it just doesn't make sense.

    3. Trading safer = being safer = losing less money.
