So my fiance and I tried Rift during the head start and realized it wasn't what we wanted, AFTER we had already bought the collectors edition. Seeing as we didn't play after the head start had ended, there's still 30 days of gametime left on the account, which starts when you first login. So yes, you'll be able to log right in once purchased.

There's not much on the account, just one character about level 20, perhaps a couple levels lower? Though, you do get the collectors edition perks. If you don't know what they are:
