Road to WGS

Well for some reason I got what I thought to be a brilliant idea in my head and it was "hey I'm going to get everything I need for WGS to kill TDs to make money." Terrible idea but I'm sticking to it. So I've already started and haven't been taking pictures until now but I decided to start.

WGS Requirements from runescape wiki:

Code:

■23  Summoning 
■55  Hunter (temporary boost possible) 
■60  Thieving (temporary boost possible) 
■65  Defence 
■65  Farming (temporary boost possible) 
■65  Herblore (temporary boost possible) 
■75  Magic (temporary boost possible) 
■If you are boosting magic, herblore, or farming, you only need to boost them to start the quest. Other skills unknown. 
■Gained a total of 270 Quest Points. 
■Be eligible for entry to the Warriors' Guild, (the sum of your attack and Strength must be at or above 130, or one of them 99) 
■Have defeated Bork in the Chaos Tunnels (Which means at least finishing The Hunt for Surok miniquest).

When I decided on this plan I have almost every skill needed besides 3. They were Herblore, Farming and Theiving.
Herblore: 45

Theiving: 59
So as you can tell I did quite a bit of farming/herblore.

This quests also requires quite a few pre-quest to cmplete they are as followed. (Completed, started, not started)

These two quest have not been completed or started yet as I need to do the pre-quests for them. The pre-quests are as followed.

After I finish all the pre-quests for WGS I'll end up having a total of 213/270 so I still have some questing to do.

I know this is a great progress log but it's been one of the only that I actually have been sticking to. This may not be updated every day it will be updated when I have completed something such as require farming level or quests completion. Feel free to ask any questions you may have.

Update as of today I have just defeated Bork. Used half of a prayer pot. Two swordies getting to him and four sowrdies for the whole fight.

Currently doing Eyes of Glouphrie stuck with the coin thing to unlock the machine for those of you who have done it.

EDIT: Just completed it. +2 QPs and a bonus, of leveling up runecrafting.

EDIT 2 for the day: Completed The Path of Glouphrie +1 QP.

 

After WGS, you will have the quest reqs for ROTM for storm of armadyl spell. Not sure what the skill reqs are, but i wish you the best of luck with this!

 

Very cool progress log idea! I have always wanted to kill TD's myself and from reading your log, I realized that I have all the requirements except only 34/62 farming.

I trained ALL of my farming by planting trees inside my house or by quest rewards, and I really have no idea how to train it. How long would it take to train it up to your level so I could do WGS? Also, do you need 270 QP do you WGS (and thats why you show your QP/270)?

PS - Once you are able to access TD's, you should create a TD's drop log!

Good luck with that, I am currently really close to the req's myself on my side account. All I need is 65 herblore and one or two more quests.

 

Good luck champ, I remember when i went for TD's.. Very annoying haha

 

There are tree patches by varrock castle, falador park, catherby right on the exit of white wolf mountain, tree gnome village there are two, right out side the stronghold there is one and in lumby behind castle. Now there are others but these are the only ones I use. Basically get the seeds you need a plant pot with dirt in it plant the seeds and water. Go to the spots and plant. You can pay the workers around certain items to have them watch after your tree so it grows completely. For example willow trees they want a basket of apples and a pineapple tree they want ten watermelons. Also you do need 270 quest points to start the quest so to answer your question that is why I'm posting them. If you need help or anything pm me for name. I will probably do a TD log when I get it done.
