[Tutorial] How to Multi-Log [No Download][3 easy steps]

How to Multi-Log[TUT]​

1. Go to C:/, and there will be the runescape cache downloaded, probably named: ".jagex_cache_32". Go in it.



2. There will be a file named: "random.dat". Right click and select "Properties".



3. Go to the tab "General" and there'll be an option "Attributes", tick mark "Read-only". Now play RuneScape and you'll be able to multi-login without fast switching of clients and clicking "Play".

Check it yourself, it's no harm in making something "Read only".
I've been using this for Dungeoneering leeching.

Don't know why I did it exactly as I've barely ever multi-logged in my life, but I might have to start now

 

Thanks guys, and so it's confirmed that it works I was trying to find out where does the RuneScape client saves the info that I've already logged in a world. And so it was random.dat. I made it Read-Only so when I try to multi-log it can't save the information that I'm already logged in that world, and hence it works.

 

Nice, I'll let you leave it here since it will help quite a few people in the long run - but do you think you could maybe post it in Rs2 Free Guides as well?

Well I'll be danged... it worked! I'm not sure why I haven't come across this before.

I've always multi-logged for pking, but it's been a lot harder without RSBuddy. Excellent share, OP.

Revo, click back. There should be two options, runescape and random (it might not have dat at the end, but it doesn't matter). Right click on random, go to properties and do the same thing stated above.

This method works.

Just a small warning: I think Jagex could easily detect this.

 

I can still just quick double log?
