wtf! i killed a with ags

i killed a dude with a ags with my dds p++ and d scim and hitting a 17 just as he put a bit of food in his mouth i was so exited thinking i was gonna get liek a really good drop or his ags but i got 4 steel javs no he was skulled he probly was 1 iteming and protect from item so i probly wouldnt have got it anway but i had rune pl8 and legs dds d scim fury d boots obby cape neizit helm obby sheild ring of life (lol) dragon gloves lots of sharks super anti super set prayer pots teleport to lumby (lol) and blue p hat (lol jk) but cmon i was upset when i got a horrible drop and i risked so much and pwned so hard and was in falador hot spot and i didnt bank allredy had 7 kills and he was 4 lvls above me wtf? i didnt even record it? fuck FAGEX

 

yeah, it's all about luck to get a good drop both the people need to be risking like 5m lol. thats how one of my friends got a 1m drop.

First of all, there's something that looks like a dot on your keyboard. It's called a full stop, and it's used to let people know when you start a new sentence.

But yeah, the drop tables suck, I was watching a DM yesterday at Edge Wildy hotspot, and some guy in full bandos (skulled) killed a dharoker (skulled). He got 2K Iron Arrows.

 

Its becouse he wasnt risking anything. When hes protecting ags it ssame as killing no itemer

 

Several factors determine the value of the drops you can receive. These include, but are not limited to:

* Your Combat level.
* Your opponents' Combat level.
* The value of items you would lose on death.
* The value of items your opponent lost.
* How long you have survived in a dangerous area on the PvP world (continuously re-entering a safe area has a negative effect on your drop potential).
* How many players you have killed on the PvP world recently (if you kill several players in a short amount of time, the quality of your drops will go down).
* Whether you are in a hot zone.


Drops will improve if you are carrying at least 75,000 coins' worth of items (or 25,000 coins' worth on a free world) that you will lose if you die - your three most valuable items are not included in this, neither is the one you may protect using Prayer. To get better drops, your victim must also lose at least 25,000 coins' worth of equipment.

Note that if you risk significantly more than 75,000 coins in items, your drops will not improve further, nor will they improve if your opponent loses 25 million coins' worth of items - the values are minimum boundaries.

In general, the most important factors are the value of items you are risking, the amount your opponent drops and how long you have survived (ideally in a hot zone). A good tactic is to let your drop value build up by training in a hot zone for a while (which will be especially beneficial if you have some brawling gloves), then try to get a kill or two for a better chance of some good drops. Then you can go back to training to let your drop value increase again.

Note that if you die, your drop value will temporarily increase to compensate you for your loss, but it won't get you the full value of your lost items - it's not a sensible way to get good drops!



---This helped me alot to understand how to get good drops, posted on rs forums by Mod Benny. I dont understand the "the more you kill, the more your drop will decrease" part. I think it's if you do anything PvP related, you lose value. But if you stay in a hotspot for 30-40 minutes training, like they said, or in wildy then find a suitable opponent, you'll get a good drop. Attacking first will also help. But, this also implies you'll need others to not be fags and risk 75k+ OUTSIDE of the 3 you keep AND the potentially protected item AND that they haven't been running around killing choobs or running in and out of safe spots. so basically, you'll only get a good drop if you're being pro about all of it. No more lvl 1 varrock or edgeville pking basically XP.

I killed a guy worth atleast 500k worth of drops and got str ammy..

 

i killed a guy with a d2h and got a rune dagger

Yea the drop system for the PvP sucks.. I only keep doing it for the joy of knowing that I've owned someone and made them lose money

 

You're opponent didn't have over 75k of items risked(if he was 1-iteming like you said). Jagex said even if your skulled, the item that you protect doesn't count towards the 75k needed to get good drops.
