Not sure if it is like it use to be with Vanilla...but I remember back in Vanilla/TBC if you had teo accounts (Main and a bought with fake name) it was possible.

Since they got rid of the phone number for blizz support, you were able to call and give a “sob story” about how you did not want to have a real name for your little brother or whatever and now you want it in your name (provide all paperwork). Blizz will change fake name to your real name. Once done, you can than ask Blizz if they can take that account and merge with your Main (cause name matches and all personnel info).
