Art question?

Hey, I need to show the difference between an outline, and a contour line , using any object for my example, (asd long as it can be shown as an outline then as a contour drawing).

Can anyone give me an example/suggestions for this?

How about a fist or a foot?

 

Aren't an outline and contour the same thing? In any case, An object with a unique shape such as a pear, banana, scotch tape, whatever would be good instead of something like a block or sphere, because the outline will better describe the item. Hope I helped I'm taking art too.
