    WoW Help Needed -- Newbie

Hey guys, I have recently decided to start playing WoW. I would like to know if my laptop can play the game. (Please note I am a dumbie when it comes to stats on computers, such as ram, and ect.)

    I have a:

    Acer Laptop
    Windows Vista, running firefox
    Acer crystalBrite LCD
    Arcade Deluxe
    Aspire 5315-2698
    Intel Celeron processor 560
    (2.13 ghz, 533 mhz fsb, 1mb L2 cache)
up to 252mb mobile intel graphic media accelerator x3100
    1gb ddr2
    120gb hdd

I tried to install it via the website but it keeps telling me "Failed to meet minimum system requirements." Now I have researched this and I came up with, the fact that I dont have enough RAM.
Can anyone tell me where I can buy more RAM and how much it will cost?
    Thanks!
Also, I am going to be buying a new desktop soon and am looking for a good nice one to play WoW on, Not to expensive as I dont have alot to spend. At most $600. Thanks for all your help as it is GREATLY appreciated! Thanks!

You've got enough RAM for WoW (You should have 2GB+, yes, but it will run WoW.) More likely, it's because your graphics card is horrid and your processor is just as bad. Even if you upgraded RAM, any even slightly populated area would give you single-digit framerates and Dalaran would cause you to crash instantly.

I have a acer too, But mine has 3GB of ram,And I can have graphics half way blasted, and Im at 16-19FPS In org,But remember thats with graphics half-way blasted.
    Here are my Specs:

    # Intel Core2 Solo processor SU3500
    # 3GB of RAM
    # 250GB hard drive
I know its not all of them but you get the point. I would recommend getting one extra GB of RAM,Then move on too your graphics card,Try broswing bestbuy.com and read some of the reviews >_<. as I've never had any trouble with a Acer,so never really have upgraded my graphics card :x.
How too upgrade your RAM: I can't really say Try googling it but anothering about RAM Make-sure before you buy it is the right-kind for your computer I know someone who had bought a GB of ram,And wouldnt "fit" into there "computer" kinda hard too explain but best of luck.

You can't upgrade your graphics card because it's built into the motherboard; unless you have an expansion slot, that is physically your permanent graphics card. As for the processor, you can find some on www.newegg.com, but I wouldn't recommend trying to take it apart...just get a desktop.

    (CPU1) Intel® Pentium® 4 CPU 2.53GHz @ 2525MHz (Compaq 07E4h mainboard)
    (RAM) 512.5MB, 15.76MB free
    (HDDs) 37.2GB, 4.35GB free
    (VGA1) NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 440 (64MB), 1280x1024x32, 75Hz
(OS) Microsoft Windows XP Professional (SP3)

I manage to run WoW at around 20-50fps on this piece of crap, so you should be fine. I get messages saying I don't meet the requirements aswell, but it still runs fine regardless.

A laptop will have trouble running WoW. Raiding etc will be Hell. The Graphics card isn't enough, Nor is the Processor. Ram is a minimum.
