Make a "whiny bitch" sticky for RS General.

Runescape Gen is filled with trolls complaining about the updates non stop. Im suggesting either a rule against coming to a section to just whine and bitch or giving them a sticky for complaining (it seems to be extremely popular). Heres a few examples of the garbage thats being allowed in the section, notice the constantly recurring theme and use of the word shit.

These are just off the first 4 pages or so, let alone the plethora of posts in other threads that are essentially the same garbage over and over again (which should be infracted as well). If people want to complain they should be required to go elsewhere or to a specific thread, this is flaming plain and simple. There should be a deterrent to letting these people just pop in a section and rage, i mean people dont go to music or movies/tv section making threads like "why tv/music is shit" or on xbox/ps3 sections "Why consoles suck dick" ect ect ect . It wouldnt be tolerated there and shouldnt be in RSgen either. Thanks for reading, i also highly suggest making the sticky (if it comes into place) the "Whiny Bitch Sticky".

 

Yeah, EoC is old news - no reason why every third or fourth thread should be essentially the same thing. "EoC opinions" sticky would be a smart move.

 

It's typical that when an update arrives, people are gonna get pissy. Just ride it out, we can manage it fine. A sticky for the EoC will then result to a sticky for Free Trade and then for Wildy/BH removal and Luring to be banned and then like 10k other things. I don't think this is a good idea. No support.

 

I agree. All those EoC threads with the OP bitching should be locked.

It'd be a temporary sticky just so the RS General section looks better than a bunch of people whining about the same thing I suppose.

 

It's a forum why should discussion be prohibited even though I find these threads annoying.

 

If it's appropriate or not, it needs to be done to avoid the stupid recurring posts.

Discussion won't be prohibited, it would be moved into one thread, exactly how all the name requests are moved into one thread in the Name Sales section.

 

Meh, I suppose a temp sticky could work, but it'd be easier to tell them to stop making threads and just use one that isn't stickied. The only advantage to it not being stickied it that if another sensitive topic comes up it doesn't get auto-stickied.

 

Those all fall under the whiny bitch category, i admit the name is a bit tongue and cheek but you get the gist of what im getting at. A runescape complaining thread, not just eoc but jagex sof solomans store and whatever issues these guys need to vent about. This is just to clean up the rsgen a bit more and to be a deterrent to these constantly recurring threads. They are in no way original or constructive and just take up space.

They are the same thing over and over again, its spam. It wouldnt be appropriate to go to the other games section and tell them how shit their game is or the xbox/ps3 section and tell them how shitty console gaming is ect ect.

Well if they had more to say than this shit sucks ect maybe they shouldnt be moved to the whiny bitch sticky, if you have valid points and are expessing them with words and not just saying "this is shit! This sucks i hate jagex ect ect ect" you might actually have a valid thread. Just coming in and saying this whole game blows is BS. Theres nothing to discuss, its just troll bait some guy coming into a section to hate on what the section is made for.

 

Discussion is discussion. If people think shit sucks, they're welcome to express their feelings here.
