Price of RSGP?

Does anybody have a projected price of RSGP after February 1?

 

.50/m on other sites, here it's overpriced tbh.

 

I beleive the initial few weeks the price will be very low, But as gold sellers dispatch their initial stock prices will rise to higher price,

I'm guessing like an average of around 80-$1 p/m

 

There's already a sticky on this in the gold exchange, so this will most likely be locked like the other.

OT: Depends how much gold will be pumped into the economy.

 

Almost everybody is going to be selling gold, so I'm guessing its going to be competitively priced at $0.50/m.

 

and then when bots start getting banned, stakers start getting cleaned, some RWTers get banned and people start running out of cash to sell? i think like 2-3$/M

 

Why should bots start getting banned? Only rumors.
Some stakes get cleaned, other will be selling more gold. The gold wont vanish into air.
RWTers get banned, how can you be so sure? Plus if Jagex really starts detecting them via trade window they can just lose it at staking or wildy. You cant actually ban someone for dieing in wilderness.

 

The number of bots in-game have already risen after the FT announcement, im pretty sure jagex will be IP banning many of them to avoid a situation similar to the one before the free trade updates where we couldn't even chop a tree without 10 other random named level 3s hogging up all the space.

The staking bit, most of the best stakers will be under jagex's radar. These guys used to bring in loads of cash into the blackmarket before the trade updates and i think they'll be wary of them now.

We can't underestimate jagex on the RWT detection bit. It'd be pretty easy to find people who trade stuff for lower than the actual market price. The GE is definitely gonna help them in this. They can just log all unbalanced trades/stakes using the GEs trade price feature, then check if multiple trades/stakes of the same manner have been made and ban the person. It only depends on what method the seller uses to sell his cash. The safest way imo would be to stake equal amounts of item with the buyer and lose the stake or get killed in the wild.

My guess?

Runescape GP will be extremely cheap for the next 2-3 months. 50c a mill sounds about right. But, at the same time runescape will experience a deflation or atleast a stabilization in deflation and gold prices will slowly climb. Im guessing atleast $1 a mill.
