Ok, not to be mean, or rude, but there are thousands of different phishing emails out there. It's completely pointless to even post about them anymore.

Simply don't click links, or even open emails for that matter, concerning RuneScape.

Yeah I got that one too. Just always hover over the links. Better yet go to rs manually and never click on the links.

Nothing new here... I've gotten emails like this before and I just delete them. Hackers are not getting cleverer and emails are not getting better, all it takes is common sense to recognize a fake. Just delete them and move on.

It's funny how people actually fall for this type of stuff. Yes, it is common sense that you shouldn't click on that, but some people still fall for that.

    Thanks for the heads up.

i must admit, i did fall for it once, but it was not a clan invite, it was that i requiested a pw changed, so me not thinking clicked it * i recently had fire cape services done for me* so i thought it was that guy trying to jack my stuff, Link din't even work, wasn't even a legit phsiing link lmao.. now they all just go to my junk folder that i clean out daily, once you have jagex acc email deemed as d safe it goes ot inbox, any fakes go straight to junk.

I wonder how phishers have been getting ahold of our e-mail addresses lately.

Some of you may think you're ahead of the phishing game, but the reality is, the black hats and scammers are already a step ahead of you. ;)

I would enlighten you all if someone would just request it.
