Would like to Establish a News Team into Sythe's PR Team

What do I mean specifically? I'd like to see the PR team form a "Sythe News Team" which is exactly what their meant to do, promote sythe and keep users up to date on whats happening(whether through social media's/the site itself/etc).
What would the Sythe News Team Do? They would each be divided up to each write and gather information together once a week(or month) and post a news article on the happenings of sythe.

Example:
Gracious is good at social media's, so gracious will write a small article on how the social media's are doing, how many followers sythe gained or lost, whats currently being promoted on the social media's etc.
Bleuskittle is awesome so he camps the off-topic section, he can write about interesting or notable SF threads or other guides or things like that.

Basically the PR team can assign someone to each section of sythe or its social media's etc and write a short article regarding notable things that have happened.
The PR team can also open a "Submit info to Sythe News thread" on the 1st of each month then gather it together and have a list of "notable people" or "notable events" like

-Gracious becomes $1,000 Donor
-Video hits 5,000 posts
-Pureaddiction hits 500 vouches

I'm thinking the news should be monthly and once its gathered together, gracious or somebody who can post in Sythe news can run the article here:

This gauruntees the news will get a signicant amount of views and comments, thus making it very much so worth the time.

Our social media's can also tweet out, hey sythe news version #1 has just be released HERE:

or sythe news #23 etc

I'm just typing as I think of stuff, let me know what u guys think of the general idea though!


Note: I just thought of this, what if in the sythe news they sell banner spots like newspapers do?(ad spaces) the money generated from the revenue of these ad spaces can go towards funding the CDT/PR team/Staff team!

I actually don't like this idea as it's basically something the PR team is made for. There's no reason to put a team inside a team. In my opinion we've got quite a few of usergroups already and I think there's no need for another. I do like the fact you're putting this up, but I simply think this is something the PR team should do. It would also be very awkward to consider member achievements (postcount/donor ranks) as "Sythe News". Those are just things to be posted in the Donor Ranks, something the members themselves should be proud of and look after - not some kind of news team.
