FlyingToast's Ranged Guild Lure

Okay, at one time I was the only one to my knowledge with a guide on how to do this, within days of me selling it (It was a boom, really took off) it was leaked EVERYWHERE. Since I can't sell it anymore, I'll offer it to all of you!

Hey all, this is FlyingToast’s guide to Range Guild luring.

Step 1. – Navigate yourself to the Ranged Guild. There are many ways to do this, and the easiest is from Camelot. I’ve outlined three common paths from the grand Exchange, Falador and Camelot. Make sure to bring food or have high enough prayer for protect from range as you will be attacked by the guards.



Step 2. – Once in the ranged guild, attack every guard you see. Just hit them once and then proceed to attacking the next guard. Your goal is to have “aggro” on every guard inside of the guild. I recommend using a dragon dagger, or even your fists as you do not want to kill the guard. Once every guard or a large majority of them are attacking you, exit the door to the guild. Follow the red path I have created below. Make sure to stop at the first yellow dot to see if the guards are still attacking you, then also at the second dot. If not go back in and “aggro” each one again. Proceed to running to the last yellow dot after you are sure they are still on you. The guards should have entered the pen now and should be all standing scattered about. If not try to re-align yourself outside. This step is very tedious but after a few tries you will get the hang of it.



Step 3. – This step is where we make our money. Patiently wait for the ranged guild bots to miss click onto the ranged guards. When the bot miss clicks the guard, it will start attacking the guard, promptly run out of it’s bronze arrows and then stand there. Generally two or three bots will attack the pack of guards. Your job is to wait for the guard to kill the bot, then wait for the gravestone to disappear. To improve chances of receiving loot, I recommend bringing a friend or two, then spam clicking once the gravestone disappears. If done correctly you can easily pocket 3-4 dbows in a short period of time. Remember it’s not only the dbow that makes you cash. Generally these botters will be wearing Dragonhide with a Glory, and maybe even a robin with ranging boots and a fury. Also, they carry around large amounts of cash so they can sit in the guild for long periods of time without leaving, sometimes millions at a time. The tickets they have also sell for around 6 gold per piece and they can have hundreds of thousands of tickets on them.

If you have high enough magic for tele-other it comes in handy at this step. What you do is once the bot attacks the guard, cast tele-other on the attacking bot. This also messes up them up, and it will just stand there and die by the guard.

Step 4 – Enjoy the loots! After you pick up a kill or two, hop worlds. Make sure to scout out each world by saying “Hi guys, what’s up?” before trying. If a large number of real people respond hop worlds and look for a bot infested world as real people will try and steal your loot. Hope you enjoyed my guide, and enjoy the free gold!

Sooo many ways to bust bots now.

 

Works well however, even if they have cash they won't drop it when they die.

I can't see any great amount of loot other than maybe a lot of arrows.

Dark bows are like 300k ;s

 

The tickets are worth a large sum, especially when these guys have hundreds of thousands on them.

 

It is VERY hard to get it to work !

EDIT - Bots down to 1/4 hp and stuck on the west side of the pen where he cant be attacked, Just lured another guard. Waiting for the strike

I've seen tons of people do this, they all fail.
If it does, the bot killed probably won't drop the RHH, coins, and tickets. Jagex updated some stuff regarding the gravestones didn't they?

 

I did this yesterday for the first time in a while. I got some 400k tickets, and pieces of black dragonhide. Mind you it took me about 35 minutes to get him, I got over 1.5 million on that drop.

Profits are less with them not dropping coins, but this still a viable method for making well over one to two million an hour.

 

I used to bot there an due to people and guides like this i have stopped botting there.

 

I still bot here all of the time, nearly no one does this anymore, plus with me wearing a ring of life / taking the correct precautionary measures I don't die.

Great guide, I see how it could work, but I don't see the loot from it being worth doing

It is worth the time, I did this for a bit today and averaged out well of 5m and hour. And code wise there isn't much the bot can do besides teletab, since when it runs out of the 10 arrows it doesn't have anything to do.

This isn't as good as it used to be. People now keep there cash and pretty much everything good because of the update. The only thing you can get from them is their ammo or tickets. Unfornately almost every botter does bank runs now.
