The State of the Runescape Market

Just wondering everyone's opinions on the current state of the runescape market. This is an old game, and it has definitely held up, but for how much longer?

It appears to me that the market is still very much alive and has lots of life left, but I can't help but to expect a crash soon? Just because of the age of the game. Do you think the market will be able to sustain itself despite losing more and more players each year?

The value of gold is slowly decaying we get a drop of a few cents every so often. Unless some huge ass gold sink comes I don't see this trend changing.

 

Well personally I think the value decay is partiallly due to market manipulation and of course gold farming. There are people manipulating the GE for billions of gold to re-sell. Can't be good for the market.

 

it still be sustainable for quite some time, but the gold price drop is inevitable. Maybe something will delay the prices to drop, but i really doubt it ever rising (for a long period of time).
