Worth it to buy a rank?

hey guys i have a decent ammount of cash saved up and was considering buying a rank in a trusted clan such as smokin mils.

a rank there cost: 1.5b
-with a reccuring fee of 60m/month

you are able to make ~3-6m/hr at the lowest rank.

Good or bad investment?

 

Say you host for 4 hours a day, for 5 days of the week, making about 3M an hour.

4*3 = 12M a day.
12*5 = 60M a week.
60*4 = 240-260M (depending on days in a month)

1.5B/250M a month = 6 months required to pay off original buy in on lowest salary of 3M an hour.

However, you must add in the 60M/month fee, so in the 6 months you thought it would take to pay off the 1.5B, it would actually extend the time where you start making profit to about 7.5 to 8 months.

tl;dr if you plan on staying as a host for the next 7-8 months paying off your rank at minimum wage, it would be worth it. However, if you only plan on being in there for a few months, you will lose out on the buy in.

 

Well, spending 300 hours to earn back the money at 4.5m/h doesn't seem too worth it. However, the more you host the more likely you'll build a regular client base who trusts/chooses you over other hosts. If you do manage to get some regulars that'll increase your traffic per hour and your earnings.

Either way though, it seems like you can make just as much if not more flipping RSGP on sythe. Good luck if you do decide to buy a rank though .

 

If I were you instead of going to a major FC and becoming a no-name host for big bucks. Go to a smaller, but well-known FC and become a big host. For example, there is a FC I used to host for in W31 called W31 Flowers and one of the big hosts there made around 10-50M an hour.

 

Thanks everyone, You stated what I pretty much was leaning towards. It diddnt seem like the investment was worth it at all, and you hit the head on the nail saying I could make more cash flipping. You also kind of made me realize that it would almost make RS like a job, knowing I needed to get on too make some money back.

 

If you have the money and you like to gamble I say go for it. You just will have to play a lot in order to make back your investment... unless you get lucky.

 

im a rank @ first at 1 bar i made 20-50m hour back when it was busy
but what u want is 3 bar or up because forsty flowers can be done and doing that omg the gps be flowing so quick

 

Rubbish investment. It would take ages to make the money back and if you think about even 5m/hr, that's like $2.50 an hour which you could find on the floor.
