Will Jagex Open the Poll to F2P?

I've read this rumor on multiple youtube videos already and people are saying that Jagex is considering opening voting to F2P.

Can anyone confirm this or share thoughts? I really think 13$ a month is quite alot to pay and hope Jagex does in fact opening voting.

 

i dont think so cause then any goal ,even if they set the level 4 to 1.5M votes , would be achievable.. people would create new accounts and vote and revote and so on...

 

There's probably worry at Jagex right now regarding the number of real, active members. They can barely get 200,000 votes with in game notifications, the center of their website, etc. It's a wake up call to their lack of members, and opening it to f2p would certainly be a sign of their desperation. They didn't expect getting 250,000 would be difficult and it certainly is. The Chinese probably have boat loads of member accounts and aren't voting.

 

Which is probably why they created or leaked this voting glitch.

 

You think they would vote considering how much money they'd be able to make after the servers come out.

But, I hope they open it up to f2p withing the last 24 hours, I can see 500k being achievable that way maybe even 750k

 

If they open it up to f2p, the poll will hit 750,000. It's easy to create Jagex accounts with a dynamic VPN IP. I made over 150 yesterday, and someone could easily craft a bot.

If they were to open the vote to f2p it would probably be limited to vets.

 

I guess it makes sense, valued votes but of course it should be x2 the current votes since people cbf registering to be a member.

Nope, as people will mass make accounts. The subscription fee puts them off.

 

They could do a "voting accounts must be at least 1 year old". That would still ensure that people aren't cheating the system and at least voting with accounts that were created far before this poll was even suspected to be coming up.
