New Runescape World! Eastern lands!

Oh hey guys, I'm really excited, I wrapped all of it up here in this article. IF you think what I think, it must be true. I believe that Jagex is going to release the "Eastern lands" sometime this year 2012, probably in the summer or September-ish when they usually release big stuff. Want proof? I'll give you proof. I'm actually Japanese and I think it would be great!

Q&A from a J-mod, found on their YT channel (This was in 2009 and early 2011 I believe):
Q: Hi, do you know when, approximately, the Kudos Island and Eastern Lands will be released?
A: "They're not in development at the moment. Andrew feels - and I kinda agree - that we should finish the continent we've got before opening another one in the East, and the Kudos Island is massive graphics project that's going to be hard to schedule with all the other work going on. I'm sorry I can't give a more positive answer."

Q: "Dear Jagex Team, I haven't heard about Lands to the East for a while. When will we expect to see more or hear more about it? I would like to know more and as well as when it will come out."
A: "The Lands of the East are still being worked on, no eta for when they might be coming out but it is content that we are very excited about so it hasn't been forgotten."

Have you guys seen the boat by the digsite area which is 'currently under-construction'? Its been there for years now, and hints that the museum may be traveling across the seas, past the werewolf country, and out east. Also, the loyalty-rewards sales man seems asian, and talks about his "origins" when you talk to him. He also sells those eastern clothes, the Chang-whatever outfit, and we also got the "katana" as a 90-day membership card reward. Also, when you go design your family crest, one of them says... "western crest" hinting that there is a "eastern crest" as well. They did nex and the citadels this year (which I admit was sorta lame, but they did spend lots of time on it) so I think they could be releasing this with this coming year.

Solid/semi solid proof from quests (sorry for nerding here)
So, if you guys have done the quests, Zarosians fled to the eastern lands to escape the god wars. In Do No Evil when you ask Rokuh about his magic cooler, he tells you he had received it from a man in the eastern lands who enchanted it with ice magic so none of the ice inside would melt, no matter how hot it got. This means that there are people in the eastern lands who know ANCIENT MAGICKS, a zarosian thing. Also, Dragonkin are said to have originated from the eastern-lands, a notebook found in Movario's lair refers directly to The Dragonkin, after calling them 'evil spirits of the east'. This would explain the rarity of dragon armour, because it is only found in the east. I think that, if they release another quest with the ROTM story line, they may release the eastern lands with it as well. It makes sense, because the dragonkin "fled" after ROTM, so where else can they be hiding?

so you think the "easter land" will be inhabitted by asian characters? and dragonkins interesting... I remember that asassin from Temple of Senlisten quest, would be cool if you can wear a full ninja armour/outfit

 

I think you will be waiting for a good few years at least, Jagex has said they will not release the eastern lands until they feel that they have completed the current continent. I doubt they will rush it for release during this year, or even next year.

 

Hope it will be something good. With much new stuff to do.
