World of Warcraft Vs. Runescape

Which one? The working adult with money? Or the 10 year old kid with a half eaten gum and some mc donalds coupons there...

Basically..

Graphics : Use your eyes.
Quests : Just.. Sad with RS.. Theres like hundreds of quests in WoW.. And they usually even have a better point.
Players : I rather talk to intelligent people than retarded 10 year old kids that cant manage to say anything else than "lol" and just call everyone "noob"
Cost : Ur really F***ing poor if u cant afford 15 bucks a month.. And some idiots have like 5 memb accs in RS making it cost lots more than WoW and u can make lots of characters in WoW without paying for each.

Leveling : In WoW u can easily level up doing quests and the killing enemies isnt so boring and stupid (just watching the character hit.. Nothing else) but in RS the whole training is grinding if anyone knows what i mean with it.. If u dont ill explain.. Basically its just doing repetitive actions on and on (such as clicking iron rock, drop, wait a second, do it again).. For example in WoW the skills arent that painful to "train" than in RS.. For example from 1 to 99 mining u would need to mine (and drop) 372341 iron ores.. And if we calculate u spend time about 5 seconds per ore..

372341*5 = 1861705seconds...
1861705/60 = 31028 Minutes...
31028 / 60 = about 517 hours.. If i didnt miscalculate.. (Quickly calculated those)

So basically... If ur ready to spend 517 hours clicking rocks, ur sick in the head.. In WoW u have alot of skills etc. in combat so the combat isnt just watching a ugly made retard swing a scimitar or clicking a zamorak monk for 5 hours in a row cursing it ... Even the bows suck.. The arrows dont fly straight, if u run they make weird turns (yea right, arrows follow the target..).

PvP : Well, in RS wildy used to be fun before jagex made safing possible and now the whole wildy isnt multi area so it sucks (and the stupid kids safing who dont know what theyre doing and just complain and shout "z0mg p00n3d roflz").. In WoW its fun to go in the enemy area (alliance or horde) and start killing people and things, or just do dueling .. In RS dueling is fun too, but its ruined by those retarded scamming fools too.

Botters : Just look at RS.. Just pathetic that jagex cant control the asian botters at all.. I have seen just a few botters in WoW and they dont make such big difference when theres plenty of enemies etc. not just a few per location always spawning in same spot and so on. In RS theres like 100 macroing people per server most likely even more, and theyre all taking the best training spots.. And why is this? Because of the same stupid kids who have the need to be able to call someone a "noob" so they spend hundreds of dollars to that.. Just to call someone a noob. and then we have a look at the wallet again shall we? After the spoiled kid spent a few thousand bucks to a party hat..

Basically runescapes players are ruining RS for themselves, they buy mills from the macroers they hate causing their amount to increase all the time, they are ready to go as low as its necessary to get GP (meaning any sort of scamming, even hacking for pixel money)..

Ive already typed enough, but theres still loads of more facts i could put here, theres nothing, not a thing that RS is better at than WoW, name one thing (please, dont put "its better cause u can just do anything freely" because u can do the exact same thing in WoW too.. In guild wars theres more "forcing" to do quests)

So whats in RS then? Macroers, scammers, idiots and retards and a few nice and intelligent people.. Most of them are 30-60 combat fools (the nonmacroers) that follow 3-20 lvls and want to fight them to feel powerful, thats just lame and sad.. Well, u got me started about this with those "runescape owns WoW." messages, please name a thing RS "owns" WoW at? Other than at sucking.

Yea crappy video.. U shouldnt compare RS and WoW.. And theres good reasons:

1. WoW is a real game.
2. Blizzard maybe has "slightly" more resources compared to RS..
3. RS is a java game, so it cant ever reach the same graphics or quality as WoW
4. RS is played through a browser.. Tells alot.

wow had better graphics, but its storyline is really stupid, however wow has cool fight graphics. runescape is more fun because better economy and easier to get hands on something you want. and you can have more then 2 professions!!! thats why i hate wow. if you could have each proffesion i would probably still play it.

I have played both RS and WoW, just to start off so I don't sound Bias, both have their negatives and positives.

They both get tiring and boring if you play to long, not in a single day I mean over a certain time period.
RS owns quests though, common almost every WoW quest you have to go kill something and get into combat, wtf..
But WoW does own in graphics, but some ppl don't like the graphics, and prefer java games, like me =p.

In the end I'd say both games are equal, but I do like getting to play RS in a browser so I can play and check sythe, and other sites at the same time.

 

i understand this video is ocmpletely biased in every way, and shows the best parts of WoW and the worst parts of runescape. but these are my opinions..

Players: In runescape all the players are mean and call you a noob when you: 1: dont fall for a scam 2: decline a trade 3: dont give them what they want. In world of warcraft the players are very nice and polite, though half of them u cant talk to due to the fact they may be on the opposite side than you.

Combat: Runescape combat is repetitive and generaly unexciting. On the otehr hand, world of warcraft combat is also a small bit repeptive, although has many cool spells, atttacks, etc.

Armor: Runescape armor is very boring, and everyone wears the exact same stuff. Most high levels wear rune or mage robes, and dont show much independence. Unlike rs, WoW has tons of different armor, but if it were real none of it would realy protect you very well.

Payment: Runescape is either 5$ a month or free, which is very good pricewise. It annoys me that world of warcraft players say that rs players waste their money, tho they are paying 3* more.

Graphics: This is obvious, WoW has way better graphics, and is much more clear. But rs is good for a free browser game, which most WoW players ignore. RS graphics are blocky and pixely.

Quests: Many RS players said that all WoW quests are just killign stuff, which isnt true. Many quests are like that, but those are to gain some quick exp. Also WoW has a lot of interesting quests. Still what i like about rs quests is they take u to far away places, unlike wow quests that u do right next to where u were given them.

I think this is the only biased comment ive seen so far..................

LMFAO! Are you high or something? Today Java can make any 3D game look awesome. They could easily make an oblivion styled mmorpgs without any trouble at all in java. Java USED to be bad with 3d graphics, but it's been severely improved.

 

Am i supposed to care.

RS looks bad, never seen any other java MMORPGs and i dont even want to. WoW is the best around and ill keep playing it, no need for useless +100mb downloads to see a java game with 3d graphics.

There's good java graphics. By the way, i assume you believe java applications tend to be bigger than applications in other languages? Why would a download be useless? The future is Java. Please accept it.

Besides, the graphics in WoW ain't good if you compare to other 3DRPG/MMORPG's developed in C++.

One more thing. You can't expect everyone in a MMORPG is educated and know proper grammars. The only game i know of with less than 2% newbies (or noobs) is Ultima Online.

the graphics for WoW blow runescape away, they are not even comparable. But i think the player versus player styles for runescape is easier to manage, not as much going on around you. The graphics for wow are just TOO pretty to pay attention to a fight. Runescape is pretty simple, an inventory, stats, and 7 or 8 menus. But for WoW, the menues are strewn all over the place and to me, would be very hard to get the hang of where everything is. Because i saw a WoW map at a friends house, and it is just massive compared to runescape. I imagine it would take 2 or 3 times as long to walk from 1 side of warcraft. I dont know what i put my opinion out like that... It was a pretty good little video though..

 

I hated WoW when I was a runescape fan, and now that I am no longer a fan of RS I still hate WoW.

 

evryone does say WoW is better than rs but i dont feel like paying 15 bucks a month to play Wow

 

i play both, wow and rs, but there totally different, i mean, wow is no risk game, i mean i cant lose ur items there, like in wild ( rs ). + wow has party mode, very very hard to get game best items.
but i still like rs more then wow

 

honestly...i hate runescape's graphics but runescape is looks soo much simpler than W.O.W and thats why i play rs
