World of Warcraft Issues with GameCard

So im not playing the starter edition, I reached Level 20 so i went to Wal-Mart and bought a 60 Days Pre-paid Card Subscription, So i log in the game and i Click update and it brings me to A world of Warcraft battle Check for 9.99$ So i ignore that and i go to Balance and add prepaid card i enter the code on the back of my pre-paid card and it tell me " I don't have eligibility World of Warcraft account to use this game card" What does that mean ? What do i need to do ? Must I sell my 60 days prepaid card and get the 9.99$ Battle Chest or what ? Will the battle chest also give me membership or is it just an expansion or something, so basically what im trying to ask is what do i need to do to upgrade from the starter edition ?

 

You need the battlechest, if you plan on playing the game till the end I recommend you just go straight to Mists expansion it would cost about $60 and save you about $40 overall if you were to upgrade one by one.
