[Farming] Quick Farming Runs [20 Minutes for 40k Exp]

Hi,

I have been getting my Farming up recently, so I decided to write a quick guide on how I do it. It's pretty much just running. There are a few quests that will make this very helpful, and items.

Required Items:

• Hatchet
• Spade
• Secateurs
• Rake
• Trowel
• Plant Pots
• Various Seeds (Herb, Tree, and Fruit Tree)
• Watering Can
• Coins

Recommended Items:

• Varrock Teleports (Tabs)
• Falador Teleports (Tabs)
• Lumbridge Teleports (Tabs)
• Camelot Teleports (Tabs)
• Ardougne Teleports (Tabs)
• Trollheim Teleports (Runes)
• Ectophial (Ghost Ahoy quest reward)

(If you don't have one or more of these items, you can walk, or skip the step)

Recommended Quests:

• Ghost Ahoy
• My Arm's Big Adventure
• Tree Gnome Village

(If you don't have one or more of these quests completed, you can walk, or skip the step)


Farming Steps:

1. Teleport to Ardougne and walk to the north to the allotments and plant any herb seed in the herb patch.
2. Teleport using the Ectophial and walk to the west to the allotments and plant any herb seed in the herb patch (skip this step if you haven't completed Ghosts Ahoy quest).
3. Teleport to Falador and walk northwest to Taverly, and plant a tree in the tree patch. Now head southeast into the Falador park, and plant a tree in the tree patch. Head south to the farming area, and plant a herb.
4. Teleport to Lumbridge and plant a tree west of the Lumbridge castle.
5. Teleport to Camelot and head east and plant an herb. Walk even more southeast, and plant a fruit tree near the fishing spots. Now head to the Catherby docks, and use the charter crew to take you to Brimhaven, plant a fruit tree there (just southeast of the dock).
6. Teleport to Trollheim and make your way to the top floor of the Troll Stronghold, plant a herb there (skip this step if you haven't completed the My Arm's Big Adventure quest).
7. Teleport to Varrock and plant a tree at the castle. Now head to the Grand Exchange and use the Spirit Tree to take you to the Gnome Stronghold, plant a fruit tree there. Use the Spirit Tree to take you to the Tree Gnome Maze. Once there, speak to Elkoy, who will escort you out of the maze. Just southwest of the entrance, there is a fruit tree patch, plant one there (you can walk to both of these locations by teleporting to Ardougne if you have not completed the Tree Gnome Village quest.

And that's all! It may look very long, but it only takes me around 20 minutes to complete it. I'm currently level 59, and when doing this guide, I used maple tree seeds, papaya tree seeds, and kwuarm seeds. I earned a little over 40,000 Farming experience per run.

The herbs take 70 minutes to grow, the trees vary, but average at 300 minutes, and fruit trees take 880 minutes. This means every 70 minutes, you can pick and re-plant your herbs. And every 880 minutes (15 hours), you can re-do the entire run.

I am in no way an expert in Farming, I was just sharing this nice little guide to make cash, and quick Farming experience.

Please Note: You can plant any herb/tree/fruit tree. Use the highest one for your level for better experience.

Edit: Have you ever seen the Dailies guide (http://sythe.org/showthread.php?t=862325)? Everyone knows that, but she/he makes it into a quick, easy to follow guide. I don't see you spamming that thread.
