Serbian Civilians attacked Kosovo's Borders

On the past few days Kosovo's Police went on a mission to get the borders that were taken from us be Serbians. There were 2 of them and we got both of them. Serbians had some policemen there and snipers. One of our policeman was hit by a sniper on head and now is dead. Serbian Civilians also attacked German and French KFOR troops and burned the borders down. Yeah this is how cool Serbia is. I am from Kosovo btw. Here is a video of some moments you can mute it as you probably aren't going to like the music. The dad policeman had a family, a wife and 3 kids, also his wife was pregnant.

I would also like to translate a song made for him already, when I have the time. It really makes me cry, it was made of words he said. One of the sentences I most like is: Dieing for Kosovo's freedom seems to be the best way to die. (Couldn't find the words to translate the best way but guess you get it.)

 

Serb President Boris Tadic urged Kosovo Serbs to refrain from violence, hours after ethnic Serbs stormed and set ablaze a border crosing in the Serb-dominated Northern Kosovo, a statement said on Wednesday.

"The hooligans who are sparking violence are not defending either the people or the Serb state," said a statement from Tadic's office. "The people must refrain from violence," it said.

Ethnic Serb extremists attacked and set fire to a border crossing post in northern Kosovo after Kosovo's government said it had regained control of that station and one other. The same border post was burned down in 2008 by local Serbs after this former Serbia's sothern province declared independence.

 

What was the purpose of attacking ? Just to cause mayhem ?
