Seriously how stupid are you, if u can get "lured"
I understand it can happen to low lvls who dont understand the game but, if u got phat you should know better... and you'd deserve to lose it imo.

 

Luring is basic social engineering, made easier by the fact that a majority (not all) runescape players are children and can be manipulated easily.

 

At least Fagex accepts it now.

 

Luring is the victims fault anyhow, no way can the lurer be blamed.

 

Would be pretty lame if they started banning for this.

 

Obv. Fagex believed they could be blamed, looks like they have a change of heart for the moment

 

They used to ban for it.
Elvemage was famously banned for it.

I just remembered there was a rumour like 5 years ago that a kid killed himself when he was scammed over a white p hat, I never knew if it was true, but I have to admit the very idea of it still makes me chuckle a bit today.

 

It shouldn't be if players are dumb enought to go into the wildy with high value items, thats there problem.

 

I was lured a long time ago, its amazing people still fall for it.
Just don't bring items in the wild you arent expecting to lose, its that simple.

 

Plus, Fagex finally put the option in to toggle off the wild warning, thus luring becomes more feasible.
