Getting scammed...

I saved up for a month or two to get 26m which i got today.. I traded a guy named Denise a level 138... Who woudlve thought he would scam? I put up my 26m and he puts claws and i accept since i was so excited i clicked accept again and noticed i got nothing in return... Gf, Always check second screen.. Quiting rs for good. 26m is probably not alot to you guys but to me it is... And losing it in a matter of seconds is horrible trust me

That's funny. I saw him today. I knew it was a scam. He also did the show Inv for glories scam.

 

Sorry that you got scammed bro, though I don't feel this is a reason to quit.

Jagex has made it nearly impossible for someone with at least some common sense to get scammed.
They have so many warning signs telling you that the trade has been modified it isn't even funny..

 

90m lost in one go, no need to quit, take a break =) Just a game remember.

If you just examine the progress of one trade you will notice at least 10 different features that are put there for the sole purpose of making it near impossible to get scammed.

You have to WANT to give away your money for free.

How can you be aware enough of runescape and the black market world by posting on a site like Sythe but then end up getting scammed in the most ridiculous way? Boggles my mind

 

its a 26m lesson learned.. guarantee it wont happen again.

 

Lol, I take my time with trades these days.. there's still plenty of people who click accept as fast as they can when they see a bargain. Pretty stupid, some day they will learn :laugh:

 

Buy more gold off sythe and you'll be back on your feet in less than an hour bro.
