MMORPG (Ron / DDIS) taking the piss

The title is indeed appropriate considering I haven't had access to the CMS of my website rsgoldstock.com since mid-december now.

Since Kaii & I terminated our live chat deal, we have all been locked out of the CMS, and @Kaii 's chat is still attached to rsgoldstock meaning all my traffic is accessed by him and not me. Ron claims Tim (ex-ddis employee) is the only one with the expertise to fix these technical issues, and he no longer wants anything to do with DDIS.

Because of this issue I requested that Ron transfers the rsgoldstock.com domain to my namecheap account so I can host my own website as apparently he cannot give me access to the CMS backend. He agreed, although multiple times he tried offering me alternative solutions, such as pointing the domain to any nameservers i provide, but I made it clear I want the domain as I've invested lots of money in building it as a brand, and I should be the one with full control of it anyway.

A few weeks ago I tried to initiate the transfer of rsgoldstock to my namecheap account. An error in DDIS' domain privacy resulted this in failing. To be fair Ron was quite cooperative in this stage as he did obtain the transfer code as requested, but he didn't get the confirmation email due to Who.is censorship.

I spoke with namecheap on live chat earlier this week and they said Ron needs to do the following:

1. Remove the registrar lock for your domain in your current registrar account.

2. Request the up-to-date Auth code from them.
3. Remove the privacy protection for your domain, as our system will not be able to get the admin email from Whois to send you the transfer approval email.

Ron said on tuesday he'd get it done tomorrow (which would have been wednesday). Of course, I didn't hear anything from him, and it is now saturday, and I highly doubt I would have ever heard anything from him if I didn't send him an angry message this morning.

DDIS have quite the reputation for not giving a fuck about their clients, and working at snail pace. I understand why many have terminated contracts with them.

Ron claims @Cas will get round to assisting me on Monday, so I am holding both of them accountable to this, considering lots of interaction in the past has been excruciatingly annoying for me. Such as the time it took them almost 3 months to update my website gfx and fix vital onsite SEO errors.

I was going to set up a temporary website while they work on their CMS 2.0 which I would be able to access, but now I just want to have the domain transferred to me as agreed, and I'll then never work with them again. It's been unfair and stressful, I've not had access to my site since mid december, I've had very little help, and of course I've lost pretty much all of my customers to Kaii whilst his zopim chat is linked to rsgoldstock. This isn't Kaii's fault or intentions, but It's a fact that shouldn't be missed, and the ones responsible for this are DDIS. It should also be noted that Kaii doesn't have his sites with DDIS any more and his domain was transferred to him without issue in the past.

I know this is a rant more so than a report, but I am very pissed off and the amount of time I've had to wait so far is unacceptable.

In short:

- I have no access to DDIS CMS, which means I have no access to backend of rsgoldstock.
- Kaii's zopim is still hooked up to rsgoldstock and they claim they don't have the expertise to change this?????????????? Really it's that difficult to change zopim codes???????
- I've been speaking to Ron via skype and email for WEEKS now. Just to transfer a domain
- On tuesday Ron said he'd amend the errors of the failed transfer. - because Ron didn't do this, I have wasted a transfer fee which I paid, and I will have to pay it again once I request the transfer.
- I don't have full control of my domain, which I should be entitled to.


Sorry Ron but what do you really expect when you work with your clients the way you do. You should just close your DDIS service and focus on rsgoldbank and rswinkel. I understand why you'd disable backend access of all Kaii's ex-employees during Kaii's redundancy of all his staff replaced by a team in pakistan, but this impulsive decision has resulted in many damages to my business here. I've not been able to do anything with Rsgoldstock since mid december, and I cannot communicate with my site visitors on live chat as it still has Kaiis zopim.

I know it may not be Kaii's or his teams intention, but this is an example of me joining the chat posing as a gold seller. I'm sure this happens daily meaning all my potential trades are going to Kaii due to DDIS's negligence:

Update:

Kaii claims the transfer of runescapegoldmarkt from DDIS to him was easy because they both use Versio hosting.

I am happy for Kaii to take rsgoldstock.com for me if it speeds things up, as I know Kaii will be more than happy to immediately transfer it to my namecheap account once he has it.

 

Hey Liam,

I've sent you an email regarding this, Kaii has agreed to take the domain temporarily and is ready to accept the transfer.

All I need is a confirmation via email so we can go ahead with the transfer. We wouldn't want to transfer the domain to Kaii without being 100% sure that's what you want, and your Sythe account isn't compromised, sorry about that. I'm sure you understand.

Transfer to Kaii has been completed.

 

Liam is ill apparantly but i have the domainname in my control so can be closed i reckon.
