Withdrawing money from PayPal issue

Hi guys,

I received 3 payments from a gold website for gold I sold them and when I went to withdraw it from PayPal to my bank it said "this payment is under review for up to 72 hours" is this normal?
It's been 68 hours now and is still showing as pending

Slightly worried about this going through

 

I think you will be fine. I read another one here and I believe it cleared after 72 hours.

 

Yeah paypal often freezes large payments to review what it is for. I have had my paypal frozen before and had to call them and explain it was virtual goods and crap.

 

The gold site sent it as friends and family I think so can' tell PayPal I sold them something

 

Try giving them a call.

 

What would I day was the reason I got sent the money? Can't say for a virtual currency as they don't support it and it was sent through family and friends

It could either be larger than normal since it's $600 or due to the logging in from different device. What's the process in these cases?

 

if your paypal is new takes up to 3 days even when you have sold on ebay etc.
