    Wireless router help.

If i buy a wireless router to put in my room, can i take an ethernet cable from another wireless router and plug it into this router to provide the connection? Would that work?

Would work, I garuntee it, as long as the router you plan to connect it to gives off an internet connection from its other ethernet ports (working properly).

I have this done with my house, we have a router in every room, to ensure 5 bar connections, all of these routers are linked to 1 other router, which is then linked to out modem. All via ethernet cables.

I feel like it's really unnecessary, but yes, it would work.

You'll yield better results simply running an ethernet cable through the wall or something.
