Basically, since tonight, my computer has not been detecting my wireless network, and occasionally detecting it, but the wireless speed is exceptionally low when it is connected, making internet use practically unavailable.

At current, I'm using an ethernet adaptor to plug my laptop directly into the 'hub.'

The wireless speed is still not quite as fast, but it is however working.

It doesn't seem there is a problem with my laptop specifically, as my* PC is facing the same problems.

*While I was typing this, despite being on the ethernet cable, the connection just died, and I had to reconnect it.

This would not work at all, if I was using wireless.

Finally, please don't suggest turning my 'hub' on and off; I've tried about thirty times.

You said you turned your hub on/off did you reset it? On the back their should be a small push-down button. You'll want to use a pen to push it in, it will reset all wireless settings which may of been causing this to happen.

Every so often your ISP has problems, i know mine has a few times.

These problems are as follows.

The IRC, MSN and downloads still work fine, but neither firefox or internet explorer will connect to a site and just comes up with an error.

When that happens i just turn my box on and off, although this is obviously not your problem.

I suggest using ethernet anyway, as it gives you a better connection (i know i used to use wireless)

!k finn Cyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa for tonight.
