I can't decide, or what else over those? I can only spend $60-$90 on the GPU. This is for my friends custom computer that I'll be building for him.

If you're interested in the other parts, they are:
CPU - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115071 2600 (not oc'ing, and getting a mobo/cpu/gpu build that'll work in an older smaller case + on a 300w or 350w PSU)

Mobo - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157238 (I'm up for other recommendations, but this seems like the best for price range, mini (size) the features I require, and specifically for the 2600 (not oc'ing).

hdd - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136096 (he currently has a 60gb hdd -.- So yeah, this is pushing all of this, including the GPU at $540 budget range.) - other HDD recommendations would be fine, if I choose the $65 GPU and put like $20 towards getting a better HDD (200-750gb)

Case & PSU (old ones, the 350w psu is enough to power everything, and I'm pretty sure it can handle those gpus too.)

NOTES: The 2600 is the main dish in this build, 2500k is NOT AN OPTION. He needs a GPU decent enough to handle most upcoming games though (gw2, d3) and just normal pc games (mass effect, arkham, etc).

 

Well, of the two you picked, the 6670.

If you can sacrifice 1gb of vram for more power, then a 6750. It's the same price as the 6670.

Also, explain your notes.. Why is the 2500k not an option? Just curious.. Also, I don't think a $90 gpu will run upcoming games on medium.

 

cancel this, I completely forgot about the 3770k coming out, I'm just going to make him skip on a GPU and go for 3770k, better mobo, ram, hdd, & PSU. That is if it's up for sell this coming week, otherwise I guess 2600 & that gpu (I'd prefer going 2700k, but he claims that he wants VT-d but would prefer 3770k.)

That seems good, if newegg marks up the price of the ivy bridge then go with the 2600k. The 2700k isn't really needed unless you are going to try to max a O/C.

Personally though I just want my hands on a 3770k, I would go ahead and get if if possible.

EDIT: Just got the email from Newegg, because of my last order they are giving me a 100$ off coupon for any 3rd gen processor. Here is the link to the 3770k
