May I please know why this thread was closed?

Hey been searching the site and trying to find out why this thread was closed so I do not make any mistakes in the future. If anyone could tell me, that would be great!

I'm not too sure. Contact Finn and ask him why it was locked.

 

Paint ball guns are illegal in a few countries without a license. Thats most likely why.

 

Would it suffice if I stated that this was for sale for only American and Canadian Residents?

How does locking work?


Would it be a moderator that locked it? Any way to ask what happened so I dont make the same mistake?

I don't think that would suffice, not 100% sure though.

Locking works when a moderator decides to lock a thread for the most part because it breaks the rules of the site.

Yes only a mod/staff member can lock a thread, normal members cannot. I'd say just PM a mod thats involved in that section. (Scroll down on he bottom right you can see the moderators that are in charge of the sections. They're called 'sectionals').

As I said, only moderators or staff members can lock threads.

I couldn't because the size of the picture was too big to upload, but I did try

 

When using Imageshack you can choose to resize the picture before you upload. Nifty little feature.

Anyways, a mod probably classified a paintball gun as a weapon, which is against Sythe rules.

Yes, a mod replied back to me, finally,...not very nicely I might add. But yes, they classified it as a weapon. Thanks everyone.
