How not to remove "Favorites" on Computer when Upgrading internet explorer.

Title says all.. what i am trying to say is that i want to upgrade my internet explorer to internet explorer 9. but the regular internet explorer has alot of things that i saved on it like my favorites which is important but when i upgrade the new internet, will delete and get rid of the 'favorites' and everything?
