USB Bootup Key

Basically, I want to make it so that every time I boot my computer up, I have to insert a USB drive into it before it loads the OS. I know it's possible with Linux, but is it possible with windows? If so, How?

 

it cant be possible. you cannot boot from a usb drive for letsay Windows 7. It just simply wont be alowed. plus i would risk it because USB drives can overheat if you run an operation system off of it.

Do you mean using a usb device as security feature? Or booting from a USB device?

 

I mean using the USB as a security feature, like a password you carry around with you (and throw in the toilet when the cops are after you XD)
I already have a Linux bootable USB, so I don't intend to make a windows one as well.
And it doesn't overheat dumbass. The reason real hard drive overheat is because they have moving parts. The part that heats up most is the RAM
