Wich retro console did you enjoy the most?

Im suprised the gameboy pocket or color isn't on the vote list.

Shit used to get serious at the fire hydrant on the street I grew up at. All the neighborhood kids linked up cord for cord battling it out endlessly til the street lights came on.

Then we had to go home cause we couldn't see anything and "Sp's" weren't out yet.

 

Where is Atari?

 

Tbh, idk if i would consider ps1, n64, gamecube and xbox to be so retro. Need to add Atari like mentioned, Sega, some gameboys.

I picked Snes thought.

 

I like the vibe that the snes and genesis gave off back in the day like in old comic books and vintage gaming mags that I fed off in my youth. I really can't explain it.

I would call dreamcast, Ps1, 64 the cutoff line for vintage but im just a shit talker.

 

I did not own first hand any of the retro consoles myself, been born in 1996 but i inherited a grey gameboy and a snes from my aunt with super mario world, and to this day super mario world is still one of my favourite games, of the lot i also owned a ps1 and a played a bunch of n64 and gamecube but later. But tbh i dont find them so retro.

 

Super mario world was a fun but rough towards the end game. Also an avid fan of Earthworm Jim series and Donkey kong.

In the past I used to have a pretty nifty dreamcast collection though. Had all the main hitter rpg's and what nots but sold it off gas money or some crap.

 

GameCube, we had a special edition mario game which included a zelda disk with ALL zeldas on it.

 

And i had a special edition nintendo 64 Pokemon goood timeees man!

 

SNES, super Mario world or Dragon Warrior games from that.

PS2, Kingdom hearts hands down

 

I spent around 6 hours a day playing on the Game boy! And I still love it, so I found a platform to play retro games. There are a lot of great old school games I used to play a lot!

 

Playstation 1 & 2 for sure
