Why the IRL price of GP can do nothing but go down, right now.

The accounts gone were bots or bot farms. They weren't buying gold anyways. They were only increasing the supply of gold. Sure, some legitimate players have left, but they'll most likely come back once they realize the 'bot nuke' actually worked.
