Be careful using MB, was successfully charged back

The $550 was originally in my MB account balance, and MB has never required that you officially accept a payment.

I had a really bad feeling about that DoarMB guy (I'm guessing that's who did this). He had broken English, and really seemed in a rush, so I just went with my instinct and avoided trading with him.

That's a ridiculous amount though. Someone needs to go after that guy. With the amount he's stealing, it goes beyond small claims.

 

luckily I had payments from him to man but none got reversed as i withdrew to bank in time and got that all important bank transfer processed status feel sorry for you two man if you need any help pm me can offer documents etc to back you guys up to show i never got chargedback.

Moneybookers and Alertpay have an unverified credit card limit of $400 - $600 USD (depending on the country of residence of said account). This means you can add a credit card to any new/premade account and send such amount of money without any verification. Their only security is Verified By Visa which is also easily bypassed.

I honestly thought Sythe would know this.

 

its not a chargeback ive been looking into it, he simply logged on the accounts and paid via a proxy and phoned up moneybookers to say he didnt send money and was some one else

 

I think I know who you are all talking about. I have had several encounters with the guy and been scammed once by him. According to what he told me, he has lots of stolen/keylogged German PayPal's and that it isn't *him* who does the chargebacks, but the original owners. He "just" sends the payment from a stolen account.

He is pretty easy to spot though. Creates new accounts for the sole purpose of buying or selling RSGP, always using broken/bad English. Him going first is one of his incentives.

I wouldn't doubt it if he has expanded his keylogging kingdom to MoneyBookers and other services.

 

The payments that I received were sent over a 5 day timespan, and all charged back in a 2mins timespan. Impossible that all the original owners (4 different people) charged back at the same time.

 

i thought MB is 100% safe, sigh....
and now i will only do WU for large trade
