Discontinued items >.< ?

How will Jagex bring Crackers/Masks/Eggs/Dor's/Pumpkins and so on and so forth, back into the game?

Nobody knows, but i'd like to see them put them in shops at the old street value.

 

really sounds legit, i would do something like that if i was jagex to prevent RWT

 

They can't put em in shops or they will not be discontinued :/ They have to give em out somehow in a limited amount? Don't you think?

 

They haven't said yet what they will be doing but I'm sure as the servers get closer to being done they will release more info on this.

 

I think they'll do it again, like the drops etc. Only a certain amount. Or they'll do something stupid where you have to pay IRL money for them

Purely speculation of mine/what I prefer:
They will add them by drops (like in the old days) and of course in an limited amount so they're instantly rare. Might sound unfair to some people as it would be pretty much about luck (X people vs X rares) (amount of people>rares) so not everyone will get one. Although with a lot of hard work eventually you'll afford one. (Like in current RuneScape.)

Its simple. You either put all your stuff on RS old server or leave all your stuff on current live server. That is what happened with RSC and they gave people a few chances to change their minds as well. Its such a pathetic thing to be asking about rares because we don't want 2007 severs for the rares (?), we want it for the game play - all the random holiday items etc doesn't really matter. Who gives a shit if you even have to start from scratch..

 

That's incorrect. Partyhats were duped in classic, that's the only reason why there are so many today in Runescape. If that never occurred there would be 1000x less Phats.

Most people got banned that partook in the dupe, but there would have been ~ 1000+ partyhats that would have been pumped into the eco. So no, you won't simply able to buy one if they plan to make them actually rare as initially intended, unless they somehow leave a dupe open again.

 

They said they will not have micro transactions associated with the 07 servers.

Did Jagex state anything about rares yet? Like anywhere?
I'm pretty curious how they will do this, since a lot of people will want them back into the '07 servers!

The whole point of getting 07 back was the gameplay - pkin, old combat system, pre-summoning etc etc. Rares don't fit into that equation. If peoples concerns are rares then I question why bother voting to have the severs back just to make people a bit more cash irl...

 

if its 2007 scape, rares were in 2007 in case you didn't know. If there are no rares it is not 2007 scape then is it.

 

MY OPINION:

You heard it here first: "Rares" will be introduced as previously but will be untradable.

No shit sherlock. You missed the point. Why the fuck would people want or care about rares in an old server of the game...We should want the old servers to play the old combat system and gameplay rather than concern ourselves with stupid things like rares - which people only use to stockpile and make cash. Why are people already implying they want to learn how to make cash on the severs? Soon we'll see people develop bots for them too. Its just pathetic people want an old server for all the wrong reasons.
