Why MW2 was the last IW game I'll buy.

I was disappointed immensely at the cheapness of pro perks and kill-streaks alike as well as the seemingly hollow online play.

 

yeah COD's keep gettin easier and easier.

 

I like it on ps3 cause not a lot of hackers. Xbox had a ton of hackers and P.C is like 100% hackers.

I agree. I think this was the shittest sequel to Modern Warfare 1 ever. I actually prefer playing MW1 over this. Kids can easily get killstreaks by camping with overpowered weapons. Stick to MW1 / WAW.

 

I didn't play any other COD games beforehand.
MW2 was the first of the series & I think it's an okay game.
No need to rage quit over stuff like this even though the hackers piss me off a bit.
At the end of the day I still prefer Counter-Strike over everything.

I don't understand where and why MW2 went wrong.

The balancing, map design, and general functionality of the game all tanked DURING development. I can't tell if they just stuck notes on the devs' computers with ideas or if they actually tried at this point. Hell, we get confirmation we would receive patches for a number of game-breaking issues. Still no patches, never will be any. No amount of shallow and overpriced content could save this borked game.

CS:S and 1.6 are both fantastic games. I prefer them for PC FPS' as well.

Also; I recommend you try the earlier additions. If you liked CS, pick up CoD2 for PC. The best MP in the series by far. All of them are pretty good minus 3 and MW2.

Nothing like 1200 MSP for remakes of a decent game's maps and three, yes three, horrendous maps with no functionality. Infinity Ward makes one large stride towards failure with each addition...

 

I'm fairly disappointed with it but for different reason probably. I don't like the fact you can die so quickly with out having a chance to react.

 

It's because the guns have no sway, no recoil, and can dominate at every range. Not being able to react is essentially normal to be frank. Most guns have an inane TTK.

Connection advantage is, unfortunately, the only thing that grants the ability to react.

 

You know you will have to play for an exclusive multiplayer monthly for blackops in 2011, activision is only out for the money lol.

 

Play halo.

Okay? So they're camping for a kill streak. All that means is you know where they are, go a different direction, kill them, and quit your bitching.

God, some people are just so whiny, "Oooh, hes doing good, playing a different way than I do, I MUST cry about it" I'm glad people like you are rage quitting. Makes the game better, if anything.

If you actually thoought about what a cmaper does, instead of running right towards where there camping, right where they're looking, everytime, you might get a fucking kill.
