This is something that makes me uncomfortable

Why do people who pardon for scams, etc, even as recently as 2011 in Lime Soda's case not get TWCs, yet people whose offense's are 2 years ago and not even a case of misplaced trust get TWCs, obviously referring to Syed. If you're going to give out TWCs, give it to the people who admitted to scamming... Yes they weren't pressured to admit to scamming, but they get away with it every time, I've seen multiple people get away with scamming with just a couple bans. Honestly at this point, many ex-mods and mods can vouch for Syed, and I see absolutely no reason for him to have a TwC, I feel like we should at least give them out for reasons like that or not give them out at all.

 

Yea, I always see Syed about and his TWC shouldn't be there you can tell his a trusted person and always many vouch for him.

Sythe himself is the one who said that the TwC needed to come with the unban, if anyone is allowed to break the "conditional unban" clause, it's him. The TwC was applied before that clause was created anyway.

I don't know syed enough to have a say on this, I just came to say that sythe would have to approve of the TwC removal if it were to be removed

 

I too see no reason for syed to have a TWC. I dont see why it even exists, its like a way of saying "We trust you but we don't trust you to trade safely on our site"

 

syed wasn't pardon he was unbanned by the restitution system

Also the twc more than likely stands as a further less harsher punishment than the perm ban he received.

 

Syed can dispute it out, its not anyone's else's problem but his.
