Why is paypal doing this?

They put every transaction of money sent to me on hold. Obviously this can't happen if I sell gold and have to restock immediately, not wait 7 to 21 days for a single payment.

I called them and they told me the system does it automatically, and basically that eventually it would go away the more transactions I do (obviously a matter of security/credibility)

So.... what do i do to beat this dynamic? I can't wait on funds obviously, and my capital isn't great enough to pull off playing it their way.

Am I seriously stuck?
