Why don't we use a VBulliten Feedback Plugin such as iTrader etc?

I don't see this being any different than the possibility right now that I could go spam negative comments on competitors threads/their vouch threads. Obviously if that happens it can be reported and if it was indeed illegitimate - removed.

Once you click on their feedback you will be able to see the actual amount traded just like a normal vouch. Its just much more clean and easier for traders to give/display feedback.

 

Problem is people will see the negative feedback for quite sometime as staff don't always solve issues fast, it could be sitting there for a day or 2 and if you leave a negative comment in someones vouch thread everyone see's you're a newcomer with no proof so people are less likely to believe it.

If you have 200 positive feedback one negative feedback isn't going to really influence your ability to trade, as with most reports within a couple days it would probably be resolved. I know I've already said it but its really no different to some nobody spamming your service thread saying that you hacked their account and dropped their items.

 

it would definitely make checking somebody's legitimacy easier, but i hope we get to keep all of our vouches if they do decide to implement it.

 

most people who want to buy/sell gold will just see negative feedback and not want to investigate futher and just choose someone who has no negative feedback where as in a vouch thread you must read what the person is saying..

 

From what I remember of the few trades I conducted on powerbot (not sure if i'm tripping or recalling factual info), the other party had to agree to the trade in some menus before feedback could be placed (if not then this should be added for it to be a viable idea)

Also that shit happens to a lower extent with the vouch system anyways, just report the post/feedback and it would get deleted - would keep the modlog mods happy

oo right I see if the other person has to agree to the trade before they can leave feedback then I see no reason not to support this suggestion.

All of the arguments I'm seeing have already been addressed (quite well)if you read through the tread. I still see absolutely no reason to stick with our current caveman ways. Feedback system is superior!

 

I've used iTrader on a few other forums when trading habbo credits. It made things so much easier then when I'm trying to look people up here. Especially when the search isn't working properly.

 

If my vouches transferred over then I'd support.

 

Read the thread it's been discussed.
Vouches will not/can't be transferred over, but that doesn't mean they are done.
You can simply just add your feedback # and vouches # together and say you have that many feedback/vouches on your threads.
All vouch threads will still exist.

 

To be honest i have no argument against them adding the feedback system, but if they did i would personally really want them to add previous vouches to it which seems an almost impossible task, as a similar thing happened on mmoexchange when it was a half decent website, and they updated the feedback system which ended up losing me 700 + feedback, really dont feel like losing another 1000 +, i know you say we could keep the vouch topics along side the feedback system, but people arent really going to look any futher than the feedback system for your vouch count most likely.

 

I remember the MMOE fiasco. I lost over 200 vouches with that. I have no qualms with a feedback system though. It could be a great tool to have in the future.

I support. If the time was taken to transfer the vouches, it'd be nicer. There could be something written to pull "quotes" off of vouch pages and transfer them to a feedback system, I'm sure. Even if I'd have to start over, I'd prefer it. People with vouches currently can have a link to their "old vouch" page on the feedback system.

 

I support this as I believe it would improve Sythe's feedback system dramatically.

 

Even if vouches weren't transferred to a feedback system this would be good - although that would definitely be preferable. I mean I don't know what the process is to transfer the vouches to feedback but it could be an on-going transition where mods are given modscore for doing it and it could gradually occur over a several month phase or you could even employ people like the CDT, if they were willing, to assist with the transition?
