Why doesn't sythe himself use sythe.

I kindly assume that Sythe has more important things to do, than going around and post in alot of threads, such as handling the maintaince of the website.

He is the master

 

I didn't mean active on the website itself just active in the marketplace.

 

The advertising must give him a good income.

 

Probably very busy with college and other real life activities. Probably doesn't have the free time to be active in the market, much less play the games and keep up with the changing in-game economy.

 

He must make a fortune from all the donations he gets.

 

Well a year or so ago (I believe) there was rumors of shutting the site down due to lack of funds.

 

If Sythe barely breaks even, the Sythe servers must be immensely expensive... donations and ads would seem to bring in a nice profit from my point of view. Having never hosted a website myself, I may be completely off though.

 

Before that Sythe.org wasn't a forum, it was his website where he posted his RS macros (and possibly other stuff to, can't really remember)

 

I see him on a bunch he just doesn't usually post.

 

He probably made Sythe for Markets back then, and probably used it a bit. Now its become successful and probably quit and spend the money he makes from Donators IRL

 

That may have been what i was thinking of, the only thing i can really remember is the pop-out lime green that was used on the site.

 

There was like a mining bot or something

 

as others have said he was mainly around for scar etc. when that was what the majority of people used to bot. now he just lurks and pops in and out when a debate is worth while.

I find it hard to believe that he doesn't make much money. maybe not enough to live off or at least live well. but we were making double what the current person on welfare makes yearly. when reinet was going. and that was ages ago I would think because of the amount of people that come to sythe , that sythe himself can charge more than reinet. The only difference I see is that he has less different advertisors and just the same ones spammed

He probably quit Runescape now although, I see him online everyday on Sythe.

 

I actually had no idea there was a Sythe, but I suppose the domain name DID have to come from somewhere. It would make sense that he might utilize his own creation for his own benefit, to some extent
