:/ What to do?

Well ok I got a new laptop For xmas
Now it doesnt work
It randomly goes on and off

Any advice pleasE?

lol exactly what does it do? It might be the power cord. Check and make sure its plugged in all the way, and if it comes lose easily, tape it with black tape. (I know sounds ghetto but thats what the problem with mine was)

 

It is usually something with power. I suspect faulty installation (hardware) Don't you have a bill? Ask the person who gave it to you for bill and get it repaired ASAP.

If it was a sale item, it could have only 2 weeks for returns.

Hardware is whatever stuff goes inside your labtop. Whatever physical. Software is something that you use virtually. Sythe forums is made of a software where as a computer mouse is a hardware.

Most computer stores do a diagnostic check for $40 - $100. Try that. Go for a trusted store so that they will be truthful to you and tell you what action to take (Private stores are recommended rather than Best Buy, etc)

Doubt it and would not recommend it. Like I said, doing a diagnostic test isnt buying a new one. They will tell you whats wrong with it. Thats all!
