Why do we have to include lobby pictures?

What's the point of these pics? "To show recovs/email derp" You can just grab another pic and nobody will ever know. Yes, I know this can be done with the rest of the pictures too, but if you're actually trying to sell an acc, then the buyer will see that the pictures were faked. But with lobby pictures, the email/recovs can be removed. Taking, cropping, and uploading the Lbby picture is a waste of time. I recommend requiring just stating whether we have an email/recovery questions on the account or not. You can't just state your wealth or stats because they actually matter towards the account and must have proof. whereas, the recovs/email can be removed.

 

I'd rather have proof that there are no email/recovs on the account, instead if someone telling me so.

 

But the picture can be so easily just copied with no consequences to the seller (as they can just remove the email/recovs at some other point in time) that it's a waste of time to include it at all.

 

Just to make the buyer feel safe.

And, when the buyer sees it's incorrect, there is proof.

'ie thread says no recoveries, you buy, see recoveries, take pic, BAN'
or something along that line

And why show anything when near all of it can be edited ;\

 

Pictures are used when the buyer is going first or when there is an MM involved. If the buyer is going first, he/she can check whether it has recoveries and an email or not, like in the picture.

Basically, you can say the account has no email, but you don't have a screen shot to prove it. Same goes for skills, wealth, and black marks.

 

It's not so much the recovery/email it's if you trust the person your trading with.

 

In my opinion if anyone wants to get there account sold they will go the extra mile with pics or fake pics, its all in trust in my opinion. Anyway this has been required since sythe has began and it wont be changing.

 

Skills and wealth of the acc will become evident when the buyer recieves the account, But by then, any recovs and email that were masked by a fake picture could be removed. So I dont see why you should have to include the pic, if faking it will prove inconsequential.

 

If you are smart and you use a MM or OMM on the trade he/she can verify that the log in screen posted on the thread is correct. If it isn't then you know to cut the trade off. It is kind of useless though considering most people are to lazy to put that or offense history picture up.

 

By the time a MM or OMM is involved, any recovs/email would be removed. So the pic is useless. The buyer can rely upon the fact that when they recieve the acc, any recovs/email will be gone. The picture shouldn't really reassure you...
