Why Do People Insist On Leveling Str First?

I think it's more important to have a high attack before str. I always see idiots running around with like 70 att and 95 str, wtf?

 

Well if you can hit quit often then your attack is good to go. Second higher str means bigger hits, so better K.O.'s?

 

Firstly, You don't need to have 95 attand only 70str that would be rather pathetic.

his argument is that it should be fairly balanced - and i agree. i would rather hit more consistantly rather than a few bigger hits. my barrow pure is 85 att, 87 str, 70 def and beats most people with 95+ str.

 

well, str is trained first becouse you get frequently higher hits, then with balanced skills(training purpose).

but, in pking i must agree, attack is important.

BH consist's of mostly tank rangers, and what is needed to hit trough the def? YES, attack.

when training, isnt it better to hit 2 more dmh(8exp) rather often?
sinse most foe's have low def, you dont need high att.

You got a point there, but then again some people have really high def so it would be nice have a high att.

 

Gaining XP only works if you can hit, if you are hitting 1s, with 1 strength, then it is going to be a lot harder to get your attack up to whatever first, just because you are hitting less. If you train strength first, then by the time you go to train attack, it will go fast because you can do more damage, and will become more often as you gain attack experience.

 

There are arguments for and against.

For Pk'ing it would be more beneficial to have a higher strength level then attack level.
Why? Because there is a chance of hitting a string of high hits which will K.O your opponent.

In theory, oscillating as you level is the best way to go as long as there is +-1 level between them, is the most beneficial for training.

 

I think its because of higher hits , makes other skills faster

 

we arent saying low str, high atack, we are saying BALANCED attack and strength.
