Ok, why do i ask this question?

    1. Mod(s) say that am lucky that my scammer report has been responded to, which am very grateful for, as i show this with my "please's" and "Thank you's" on all my threads, and i understand their hardwork.

    2. But also ain't i the one thats taking the time to compile the evidance, yet being told am the "lucky one" that it was responded to? e.g i get scammed lol, i take a whole lot amount of hours to try find more information about that scammer etc..google searches, taking screenshots, making sure everything matches and still being patient enough to provide more information when required, after posting the report.

In no way am arguing just asking simple questions and am confused, drop down your thoughts please.

I think it depends on the mod imo

It is both: you help yourself by getting some small measure of revenge, and you help the community by preventing another from falling for the same scam. However, for the mods, it's really just more work: most of them are personally unaffected by the reports since they don't use the market or wouldn't fall for scams, and amidst hundreds of other reports, one doesn't make a big enough difference to change anything, especially since scammers tend to simply evade. In short, mods and the community and separate entities.

You kept bothering me about a report which I answered within a few hours of you posting it. I simply said that you were lucky that I got to answer it right away, unlike other reports which may take a while to get to.

    Thanks for the replies.

Skele forgive me this ain't aimed at you at all, just asking in general hence "mod(s)", its the feeling i keep geting from some of the mod(s) replies to all the scammer threads.

@sin666, lol thats like saying they dn't need to do their job unless they get scammed?, would that explain why ban evaders are just roaming the site.

As users of the site we doing sythe a favour or oursevles? is the main issue here.

Also why dn't sythe appoint scammer mods that scan in and out and find these ban evaders? how does sythe expect to get donations if they don't protect the community.

It's both. You're part of the community, right?
