Transferring money from Paypal to a bank account

Hello.

My apologies if this is blindingly obvious.


If I were to receive ~$500 dollars into my paypal (which I use quite rarely) and transfer it to my bank account, will this arouse any suspicion on the part of either paypal or my bank? Has anyone here had a problem with something like this?

Also, if the person who sent me the money becomes blacklisted for whatever reason, will this have any bearing on me after the transaction is complete? (IE removal of funds from my paypal/bank account).

I've sent back-to-back withdrawals to my bank of $100 at a time and never got any problems, so you could try just doing that. Idk if there's some sorta limit that they red-flag but I doubt it. If the person who sent you the money got "black-listed", then there's a chance paypal will hold the payment. If they make a call and say that they authorized the payment, it should turn out ok

 

I've transfered from my bank from paypal to bank quite often, and I've never had any issues. However if you feel quite insecure, I'd do around $100 to see if anything bad goes wrong, then do the other $400 etc, as I wouldn't keep doing $100s as it would get suspicious. Don't panick if it doesn't come straight away as it takes around 3-7 days from I've experienced. Good luck.

 

You will have zero issues transferring the money unless someone disputes during the transfer.
