Mixed Messages from WU?

I've rarely used WU to send money, and used it to send a bit via bank account 5 days ago. When tracking the transfer, the order says it is canceled, but I received an email saying that the order was completed.

The money is still in my bank account, so at least it's not missing, but what can I do to not end up $1k+ in the negative?

 

I've never actually sent money via WU's website. Used to have a friend who's currently on exchange do the transfers/pickups as he literally lived next door to one.

I can't help you on this one. Have you tried calling them or emailing them? Their email support wasn't too slow in my experience.

 

Has the receiver tried to pick it up? If not then they should.

If you call them they'll just look at it online and tell you its cancelled, no matter what emails you got.

 

Call em, use WU a lot and not ran into that before..

 

If you know that the receiver hasn't picked up the money, odds are that they'll debit and then credit your account.

 

They tried to pick it up but it was unavailable.

 

One would assume its cancelled then
