Why botting sucks...

For the past couple of months i have been running a bot farm. It was supposed to be a thing to make money on the side, but it turned into a complete pain in the ass...
I still do it because it does still make me money (Not as much as i thought though) and it takes up alot of my time. Here is how my first 31 days went since i started my botfarm...

Day 1: Downloaded rsbuddy, bought a premium hunter script
Day 2: Trained 8 accounts to the requirements to use the hunter script
Day 3: bought all 8 membership, ran on my pc, rotated set of 4 every 12 hrs
Day 4: Going good, making money, great!
Day 5: Making money.... but what if they all get banned??? that would suck
Day 6: still working good, not banned lol
Day 7: script is not working... F*CK!
Day 8: script is STILL not working, not running any bots today
Day 9: God dam this scriptor isnt updating it
Day 10: still nothing
Day 11: Still nothing... huge waste of time
Day 12: Obviously this scriptor isnt doing jack.... research other script
Day 13: Bought RC premium script
Day 14: Started to run RC script with me member bots
Day 15: alright finally a working script
Day 16: Rs is updating.... cant login for the day. F*CK!
Day 17: Ahh Runescape is working again...JK, now rsbuddy is updating!
Day 18: Everything working, expanding my farm now by making more accounts
Day 19: Bought some VPS' and made more bots
Day 20: YAY my bots are all running and making me money.
Day 21: YAY! WORKING!
Day 22: error! -.- script is broken
Day 23: wait for update
Day 24: wait for update
Day 25: wait for update
Day 26: Updated! working! running bots again!
Day 27: Running smoothly
Day 28: Running smoothly
Day 29: Running smoothly
Day 30: Running smoothly
Day 31: Login... ERROR your account is not a member...... F*****!!?!?!?!

LOL Had to make all the accounts members again after i barely was able to bot any. So hopefully this is NOT how it will be the next 31 days. For all you new botters i suggest you read this and understand you will be VERY VERY pissed at all times...


P.s. My botfarm is running smoothly now and i am having alot less problems now that i know more about botting

 

Which scripts were u using for hunter and now rcing?

 

That is why you should try to diversify your goldfarm with different bots/clients ...

 

That's why you get a scripter to make a script for yourself

 

You should have just used the money from membership to buy RSGP.

 

Vary your clients and scripts, I have a couple at each bot: Runecrafting/Mining/Hunting & frost dragons.

 

LOL, atleast your making money. Your doing better than any legit player ever did just botting. Dont take botting for granted. then again, what legit players? Runescape is now Botscape. They should just integrate automated functions into the game.

Yeah i still made money but it was very annoying lol... And yes i keep logs of my botfarm because it is smart to keep records, being i can consider it a business

 

It is good to keep records, so you know what you are making/losing every month. Also you can see the good days and the bad.

Farming now sucks, unless you have a number of good accounts that can, for example do high levelled things such as rune craft death runes.

 

Hopefully the scripter will start updating again. But at least no account was banned

 

Yeah im happy about that, but i feel like 12 year olds are writing scripts lol

 

Been making ~400m/week on 8 accounts consistently for over 6 months now lol

Stick to Nexus, tried and true.

 

What botting method do you use?

 

Using payed scripts on the nexus client should alleviate a few of your issues

 

Don't blame the bots, they sometimes have errors/needs to update. Could it be that you're doing something wrong?
